Foundation for Intentional Community

Starts April 2, 2025 – Labor and Money in Community – online course

What is the relationship between labor, money, creativity, and the goodwill of residents in an intentional community?

How much people engage in community work is often a matter of discussion and even conflict. Understanding how you make money, how income is dispersed, and how you contribute and participate are important not only to determine how your community will operate, but also maintain good relationships.

In the Labor and Money in Community course, Yana Ludwig will move between practical tools and discussions of equity to deepen participants’ understanding of frameworks such as income sharing, sweat equity, and material security. Classes start on Apr 2.

29th Annual Conference of the International Training Circle – Methods and Tools to Develop Competencies in Awareness, Feelings and Action for Inclusive Social Development

April 23-26, 2025 at the Anthroposophical Center in Kassel, Germany

“While the program of our conference is still in the works and will be shared in more detail in February, the next steps for the development of our network are clear. They emerge from our work under the umbrella of the ERASMUS+ Project Peer2Peer-CET, which has been our focus from 2021 to 2023:

  • Building a network platform for sharing competences and resources
  • Developing a shared reference framework for professional education in our field
  • Developing continuing education courses and micro-credentials that can be offered internationally
  • Developing new partnership formats
  • Thematically, we are proposing to do all this while exploring together what “Inclusive Social Development” may mean in the context of professional education and training. In doing so, we are building on the work of the 2024 conference in Buenos Aires.

Everyone who is active as a mentor, lecturer or instructor in professional education and training contexts in anthroposophic curative education, social therapy and related fields is warmly invited! https://inclusivesocial.org/en/event/29th-annual-conference-of-the-international-training-circle
