Triform Camphill Community in Hudson, NY is unique among the Camphill communities as a youth guidance community—we are a transitional program helping residents to bridge the gap between late adolescence and adulthood. There are also a few long term Journeypeople who have remained in Triform into older adulthood, contributing to an intergenerational environment that fosters a vibrant college-like campus atmosphere. We are rooted in agriculture with hands-on learning in farming, gardening, and land care, along with creative arts like weaving, pottery, theater, painting, and bell choir. Triform is situated between the mountains and river, making for a lush rural landscape, while being just ten minutes from downtown Hudson and a short two-hour trip to NYC.

Academy students: Bella (Brazil), Gaby (Brazil), Annie (USA), Michelle (Germany)
Our community is a mix of long-term community members, volunteers, youth guidance students and apprentices, and Camphill Academy students. Academy students are currently focusing on Social Agriculture and Biodynamics, Social Therapy, and Inclusive Social Development. Each of our Academy students initially came to Triform with just a “gap year” of volunteering in mind and felt drawn to stay on and pursue their studies in the Academy with a fellowship at Triform. This year, we are excited to welcome back a volunteer from 2023 who is beginning studies in the Academy! Each year, we typically have between 2-5 Academy students who attend classes at our nearby “sister” community, Camphill Copake. Traveling off campus for classes adds a dynamic element to the experience, offering opportunities to connect to our wider community and build new friendships.
We warmly invite those interested in experiencing Triform in person to join us for our Open House Community Day on Saturday, May 16th from 10-2pm, in which you can feel welcome to explore our grounds and gardens with activities, music, picnicking, and more.
